Client Background Info:

Multi-Platinum Artist, Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas teamed up with the American Cancer Society in their mission to bring awareness to their fight against Cancer. Taboo, also a Cancer Survivor, created his single called “The Fight” which became the theme song of the campaign which was performed live on ABC’s hit show “The Doctors”.

Challenges:

American Cancer Society was seeking a way to appeal to a younger demographic which led to their partnership with Taboo (Black Eyed Peas). With his new single ready to go, the next step was figuring out the creative direction and branding of the campaign.

Results:

We collaborated with sought-after photographer, Taylor Rainbolt who has worked with brands such as Nike, Vans, Finishline, and musical artists Migos. Taylor was able to capture the emotion and rawness of Taboo’s fight with cancer, and most importantly, capture the authenticity that the millennial generation can connect with. As a result, “The Fight” campaign was created. For the final touch, we reached out to local designer, Kyle by Kyle, and aligned his style with the goals of the client. Instead of designing a logo, he created a symbol that embodied “The Fight.
