Client Background Info

Activ8 is a  premium sports performance facility in San Diego training professional and elite athletes for the last 8+ years. Their team of technicians and specialists create custom programs to optimize the performance of these athletes. They wanted to reposition their brand targeting the Millennial demographic, streamline its website functionality, and expand access to their proprietary training curriculums. 

Challenges

  • The Activ8 Website was difficult to navigate and their branding was not attracting or converting their desired demo (millennials/ pro athletes) 
  • Description of the services was convoluted and impeded users from quickly understanding which were relevant to their personal health goals. 
  • Content of athletes and workouts was minimal and old
  • Branding was geared toward a clientele composed primarily of older athletes and they wanted to sign younger athletes. 

 

Solutions

Oso dove in with a full rebrand involving a revamping of their mission statement, better defining services, generating new content(photos/Video/ Design), developing a marketing strategy, and a rollout of an entirely new premium custom coded website. 

Web Design

The initial copy users felt was convoluted and made it difficult to clearly ascertain which services would be relevant to their training. We spent a lot of time working with Activ8 on distilling the copy down to only the essentials. 

By inverting the color scheme from black to white and it gave a lighter minimalist feel allowing the user to focus on prioritized content and information to learn about their services.

Content Creation

The primary focus for Activ8 was creating high quality content capturing their staff’s passion for training and the dynamic movement unique to their elite training programs.

With a clear and relevant story communicating their services, fresh action-driven content grabbing the attention of their desired demographics, and an easy to navigate website, leads were able to quickly decide to book an appointment for their assessment.
