Client Background Info:

Streets of Hope is a San Diego-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to help people experiencing homelessness by providing food, clothing, haircuts, workshops, and housing resources. This nonprofit has volunteers on the ground weekly, in Downtown San Diego to connect with neighbors in need to listen to their stories and offer assistance.

Our Approach:

In 2019, our Director of Media and Public Relations, Carlos Rico connected us with Streets of Hope for our annual charity event because of his ties to the organization as an active volunteer. Streets of Hope’s mission to help underserved communities aligns with our core values and our genuine care for the local San Diego community. We were honored to collaborate with Streets of Hope to fundraise and support their mission in our community. 

We walked the Streets of Hope team through our marketing and branding processes to plan the event. We outlined the strategy, content calendar, and provided the venue. Oso created all the assets and content surrounding the event, an integral part of their social media strategy and led directly to the overall success of the event.

Results:

The event sold out and between ticket sales, raffles, silent auctions, and direct donations we raised a total of $5,793. Surpassing their annual budget goal of $5,000.
